01 / THE PROJECT

A shared space within the temple.

The design pairs a long, low pavilion with a prominent Thai-style gabled entrance. Light-coloured walls and orange tiled roofs frame the building, while planted edges soften its paved surroundings. A covered open-sided structure provides additional sheltered space. Eight design renders document the pavilion, its approaches and its relationship to the surrounding outdoor areas.
